My family has entrusted Riverview funeral home with the care of our loved ones for many ỷears; grandparents, aunts and uncles, parents, siblings, children, etc. This past week my dad, Raymond Lewis, passed away, and without exception, Roy, Nick and the staff at Riverview did ăn outstanding job with his final services. Even in trying times like this past year, they served our family with the utmost respect, compassion and professionalism. On behalf of the Lewis family, I would like to thank Riverview funeral home. "When planning my mother's funeral a year ago, one thing for sure is I didn't want her services at a commercial funeral home. When you lose someone you love it's personal, why chose an impersonal place. Price was a consideration too, Riverview price is very reasonable. She passed in the middle of the night, I called Nick. He helped us through everything start to finish. My mother looked beautiful, they did an amazing job. My brother passed away suddenly a week before her in California, they did a special memory video and poster, and added my late sister. I can't see any other place making us feel so comfortable we put our Mom in their hands. We all left saying "Wow they did a great job". Thank you Roy and Nick for making this easier for us, and as I told you my Mom would be very happy you made her look so beautiful."

"They were so kind and accommodating. We didn't have your typical funeral. We played rock music and told alot of stories you normally don't hear. We also had the hearse following Harley's to the cemetery and everyone blasting there music. It was definitely more of a celebration of life than a boo-hoo funeral. "Our whole family would like to thank Roy and Nick for taking such good care of my Dad and the whole family. Roy and Nick were both compassionate, patient, professional and Oh My Gosh, did they listen! Mom showed up at the funeral home with all 6 of us girls in tow. We were welcomed with open arms. They listened to everything we had to say, while patiently gathering the information they needed to help us give Dad a send off worthy of our love for him. When it came time to pick out the casket, Nick was 'excited' to show us what he thought was the perfect fit, based on all of our stories. Although we looked through a large part of the offerings, we came back to Nick's original selection. It was so perfect, nothing else compared - Nick was spot on. They took such good care of us - even when it probably felt as though the funeral home was beyond capacity during the viewing and service. As we were ending the service at the cemetery, my sister wanted to play a song for Dad from a CD she brought along. Not a problem! The doors of the hearse were opened, the CD was placed in the player and the volume was turned on high so everyone by Dad's grave could hear the music.
