Obituary of Timothy Brian Lemons, Sr.

TROY –
 
Timothy Brian Lemons, Sr., 64, of Troy passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Samaritan Hospital.
 
Timothy was born on September 5, 1960 at the former Leonard Hospital in Troy, NY.
 
He was the son of the late Allen L. Lemons, Sr. and Carol A. Lemons (Bennett).
 
Timothy was raised in Valley Falls NY, resided in Poestenkill, and moved to Troy where he has remained for years. Timothy graduated from Hoosic Valley High School (class of 1979).
 
Tim loved John Wayne, and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees, and he enjoyed taking vacations with family, along with watching Poppy Playtime with his youngest grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Tina M. LaFerriere, whom he united with on June 21, 1997 in Troy, NY.
 
Surviving Children include: Timothy B. Lemons Jr. ( Laura), Erin E. Lemons, Casey L. Lemons (David Guthier). Grandchildren: Kylie R. Lemons, Samuel K. Yelle, Brendan J. Yelle, Rozalyn E. Lemons, Brilynn R. Lemons. Also survived by siblings: Allen L. Lemons Jr. (Carmen), Laurie A. Jones (Donald), James D. Lemons.
 
Thank you to our Mim (Tina) for taking such good care of Grandpa (Tim). Casey for being there to help with Tim throughout. Laurie and Lorraine for being there to help with what was needed. Thank you to many of the ICU/RT staff for taking good care of him while he was there.
Relatives and Friends are invited to pay their respects and visit with Tim's family on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 1pm-3pm in the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street), Troy, NY 12180, where a Funeral Service will be conducted that afternoon at 3 o’clock with the Rev. Nick TeBordo, officiating.
