I have quite a few memories of my dad, but the one that sticks with me the most is as a little girl, we would watch thunderstorms roll though while sitting on our front porch in Bowie, MD. To this day, I have a fear of loud thunder and lightning, but I always remember feeling safe watching the storms and listening to the rain with him.
