Obituary of David E. Stewart

         Pittstown - David Stewart 82 passed away August 27,2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Petersburgh, NY David was son the of Alfred and Madeline Stewart of Petersburgh, NY.

He was predeceased by his wife of many loving years Joan (Greene) Stewart and daughter Doreen Stewart. Dave is survived by his children Barbara (Michael) Beaudoin Joan (Scott) Isager and David Stewart along with three grandchildren Michael Beaudoin, Matthew Beaudoin and Amy Kneer and his 7 great grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by his sister Minnie Jones of Berlin and predeceased by his sisters Doris Grillo and Marion DeConno and his faithful loyal friend Girly Girl.

         Dave was a lifelong mechanic before being employed by NYSDOT for over 20 years. Family and friends will miss Dave’s continuous stories and wide variety of jokes. 

         He enjoyed participating with the Pittstown Seniors and attending the Hoosick Falls Senior Center. A special thanks to Barb for her kindness and friendship, as well as the Pittstown church community.

         Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 3,2019 at 11:00 am at the Pittstown Methodist Church 57 Old Rte7, Valley Falls, NY 12185. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

         Family and friends are invited to Giuseppe’s Restaurant 334 NY7 Hoosick Falls, NY 12090, following the service.
