Uncle Bill was a good man whose demeanor reflected his kindness, patience and unshakable faith. He dedicated his life to helping young people who needed it most. For 48 years, Uncle Bill’s love of and care for Aunt Irene was a model for us all. May the two of them rest together in eternity.

I knew him as my freshman home room and algebra teacher (1957-58) at St. Peter's Boys High School, Staten Island, New York.
He was a fine teacher and kind man.
I believe he was transferred after that year.
His example moved me to consider joining the Christian Brothers, which I did for a short time several years later.
The Christian Brothers have been the most positive influence on my life, aside from my family.
May he rest in God's peace.

We have many fond memories of family times spent with Uncle Bill and Aunt Irene, many of which took place in Montauk. We were sad to hear of Uncle Bill's passing but take comfort that he is back together with Aunt Irene - they truly were a special couple. May he rest in peace.
