I was the mother of the March of Dimes poster child, Eric, and Ursula was very generous in her participation in our fund raising events. Although I only met her once, she left an indelible memory. I hope her family finds peace in knowing how many people loved her for the amazing impression she left in the hearts of others.

I am saddened to hear of Ursula’s passing. She was the kindest and most compassionate person I’ve ever known. My father worked for Ursula until 2005 when he was no longer able to work. Ursula treated our family, especially my father as if we were blood relatives. Our family sends heartfelt condolences and prayers to Ursula’s family and friends. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Ursula family. I work for Ursula for many years. She is and always will be an extraordinary women. She gave me the opportunity to be a person of perfection in the the the work that I did for the company. I will always admire her love for her business, her employees ,family and all The critters she was feeding over the years.the Christmas party's at the track The Sagamore in lake George . The cruise On the Mowhawk River they where all great parties and the parties at the shop many years after with the tangerine pine and candle that smelled so heavenly. She will be truly miss by all whe new her including me.518-928-4759 please call me I would like to be there.

Thank you Linda. We will be in touch with you with details of her memorial. Your memory of the tangerines with pine in the candles at Christmas brings the scent to my mind. It will surely be part of our Christmas tradition for many years to come. Your comment reminds me that in her gentle way Ursula was a great teacher from whom you loved to learn. And my family would add, from whom we all learned much.
