Obituary of Ronald R. Morris

Rotterdam, NY- Ronald R. Morris, 67, of Rotterdam, died suddenly on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Ronald was born in Niskayuna, a son of the late Wilbur and Ann (Moranselle) Morris. He was a lifelong resident of the Schenectady area and was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. Following high school, Ronald joined the Air Force in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1970. Ronald was united in marriage to the former Nancy Anne Guliano on April 19, 1970 in St. Clare's Church in Colonie. For 35 years he was employed in the maintenance department at Ellis Hospital and retired in 2001. For 2 years he worked for the Mohonasen School District as a bus monitor. Ronald was a faithful member of the Rotterdam Elks Lodge #2157. Ronald is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy A. Morris, of Rotterdam, one daughter, Michelle (Thomas) Budka of Scotia, one grandson, Thomas R. Budka, Jr. of Scotia and one brother, Douglas Morris. Ronald is also survived by his lifelong friend of 51 years, Joe Kwiatowski, Jr. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, at the Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Avenue (corner of Broadway) Schenectady, where a funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 5. Entombment will follow the service at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery Mausoleum, Rotterdam. Condolences may be expressed by signing the family's online guestbook. Arrangements are by Roy F.
