Obituary of Caroline M. Willsey

Troy, NY- Caroline M. Willsey, 69, of Troy, passed away after a long illness during the early morning hours on Monday, September 28, 2015. Her loving family was by her side. Caroline was born on February 3, 1946 in London, England. She was the daughter of the late Graziano J. and Peggy D. (Kirby) Pannitti. She was a lifelong resident of Snyder's Lake. For a period of 12 years Caroline was a customer service manager at Walmart stores in East Greenbush. She was best known for the love and commitment she had for family and friends. She was the beloved wife of Donald E. Willsey whom she married at the Snyder's Lake VFW over 35 years ago, the loving mother of: Stephen M. Pues (Erica), Kimberley A. Willsey (Eva) and Shari Yerman (Tommy), the cherished grandmother of: Robert M. Pues, Connor A. Yerman and Stratton K. Yerman, and the dearest sister of Michael R. Pannitti (Dolly). Several nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as her lifelong friends, Ruth Rose and Nancy Groesbeck, also survive. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, October 3rd, at Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street); Troy.
