Obituary of Jeremiah Charles Dreessen

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. We gather here today to remember and celebrate the life of Jeremiah Dreessen He was a son, a brother, lover, warrior, and the best kind of friend He was nerd, a hard ass, a big softy. He was a soldier He served his country with honor He was someone you could rely on and his whole unit knew it He was not one to run from anything much less a fight. In a world where we are taught that if you live by the sword, you die by the sword. It only makes sense that Jeremiah fell victim to his heart Jeremiah squeezed more life into his 34 years than most do given twice that time He loved He fought He cried He lost big and enjoyed victories that few have the courage to dream of He is someone not to be forgotten So, in honor of him Wipe the tears from your eyes. Put on a smile Tip back a shot Tell your favorite Jer stories And celebrate the memories... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jeremiah C.
