Obituary of Sheila P. Yaiser

Speigletown, NY Sheila P. Yaiser, 65 of Mountain Way, Speigletown, passed away on Sunday, April 20th at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her beloved family. Sheila was born in Troy, NY, daughter of the late Andrew and Ruth Allen Rokjer. A graduate of Lansingburgh High, Sheila was a resident of Lansingburgh for most of her life living in Speigletown for the past 10 years. If you asked Sheila what her job description was, she would proudly say, "Domestic Engineer", a position she held for 40+ years and one that you really never retire from. She loved to travel and go on "shopping trips" she especially enjoyed cruises. She took delight in cooking and decorating and making a home for her family. She is survived by her husband, Thomas T. Yaiser, Sr., whom she married on February 2, 1976. She was the mother of: Thomas T. Yaiser, Jr. (Deborah) of Portland, CT, Timothy P. Yaiser (Blanca) of Tuscon, AZ, David A. Badgley (Jeannine) of Troy and Kristin Sheila Badgley-Santa Lucia (Robert) of Speigletown. She was the sister of Bruce Rokjer (Linda) of AZ. Sheila is also survived by her adoring grandchildren: Sarah, Cassandra, Cody, Amanda, Taylor, Giavanna and Patrick and a great grand daughter, Addison. Sheila also leaves behind her best friend of over 60 years, Patricia Smith. Funeral Services will commence on Friday morning, April 25th at 11:00 AM from the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Lansingburgh. Interment will follow in Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, NY. Sheila will be reposing in the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday, April 24th. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 PM. Sheila P.
