Obituary of Mark Patrick Jordan

Mark Patrick Jordan, age 62, passed away peacefully on Dec. 19th at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness, with his loving family at his side. Mark was predeceased by his wife Nancy Sehl, and is survived by his daughters Heidi Schmitt (Mike) of Hawaii, Tiffany of Clifton Park, a son John Mark of Mechanicville, a brother, John of West Sand Lake (Joan), sisters Mary Jo Cutty of Cohoes, Sharon Duncan (Carl) of NJ, Nancie Jacobson (Craig) of NH, and was predeceased by his brother Mike (Harriet) of Albany, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mark was born in Albany, the son of the late John and Dorothy (Marlo) Jordan, and was a graduate of Shaker High School. Mark was an expert auto mechanic; he owned his own repair shop for many years and worked for a number of local shops. He was the founder and owner of Jordan Cams, inventing and patenting a cam that made front-end alignment work much easier and more accurate. He loved family get-togethers, classic car and bike shows, and chilling with his best friend "Buddy", his beloved Chihuahua. Mark was a very caring and giving person, who was always there to help others, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A private service was held for his immediate family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., Troy, NY.
