Obituary of Katherine M. Campoli

Stillwater Katherine M. Campoli, 85 of Stillwater, formerly of Troy, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at home after a long illness. Born in Watervliet, NY to the late Cornelius J. and Katherine E. Casey Sweeney she was raised in Waterford and then resided in Lansingburgh from 1946 to 2002, prior to moving to Stillwater. She was employed at Williams Press in Menands for 25 years before working as a clerk for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance for 25 years retiring in 2002. Katherine was married for 63 years to Bernard (Barney) Campoli before his death in 2007. She is survived by her two daughters: Cathleen P. Martin (James Lattimore) of Troy and Cynthia A. (Joel) Burgess of Stillwater; grandchildren: Maya, Mark J. and Mackenzie Martin, Joel M. (Tayrn) and Megan Burgess; great grandchildren: Alexander and Anthony Grosh and Annalise Martin and Theadora and Audrey Burgess; special niece: Donna M. Schofield of Cohoes as well as several other nieces and nephews and dear friend, Charles "Chucky" Abare. A funeral service will be conducted from the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc. 218 2nd Avenue at 104th Street, Troy, NY 12180 on Monday afternoon, February 6th, at 12:30 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Monday from 10 to 12 Noon prior to the service.
