Obituary of Joselyn Yvonne Woodard

December 04, 1986 - April 21, 2022 GREENWICH- Joselyn Y. Woodard, 35, passed away on April 21, 2022, in the care of Ellis Hospital with her mom at her bedside. There are truly no words to describe the feeling of loss of "our Joz". She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, and a friend to so many. She will always be remembered for her amazing quick wit, sense of humor and beautiful smile. She would bring boundless energy and laughter into a room. She would go out of her way to help anyone in need. She was always very creative and artistic and could write a story so eloquently. Joselyn struggled with addiction throughout her adult life. For many years, we held onto the hope that one day, Joselyn would write her story and share it with the world. Sadly, that story's ending was written sooner than we'd wish for. We are comforted to know her struggles and pain are over. She lives on through her precious little girl, Jacksyn, who inherited her mother's beauty, free spirit, and sense of humor. Joselyn is survived by her daughter, Jacksyn; her parents, Paula and Ken; her brother Jake; her sister Jasmine and niece Alanna. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Joselyn Y. Woodard memorial fund at any TD Bank location. Cremation took place through the care of Riverview Funeral Home.
