Obituary of Daniel F. Minehan
TROY -
Daniel F. Minehan, 75, of Troy, died on March 20, 2022.
Born in Troy on November 12, 1946, he was the son of the late William Henry and Catherine (Daly) Minehan.
Daniel was a lifelong resident of Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Siena College with a Major in Accounting. Daniel retired as an accountant after 25 years of service.
Daniel held memberships with the Emerald Club, Crab Club, and the Polish American Club. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family, listening to Jazz, and visiting with his grandkids. Daniel enjoyed providing tax services to friends and family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his life partner of 40 years, Anna Marie Stipe of Troy, as well as two stepchildren Steven (Christine) Stipe and Jeff Stipe, cherished grandchildren; Nicole, Spencer, Nora, and Mallory Stipe. Daniel is also survived by sisters Janice (Milton) Connors, Kathleen Wood, and sister-in-law Patricia Minehan. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents, Daniel was predeceased by his brother William Sr., niece Robin and nephew Bryon.
Relatives and Friends are invited and may call from 4-7PM on Friday, March 25th at the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) in Troy, where a funeral service will conclude the calling hours at 7PM in the funeral home. The burial will be private for the family in St. Peter's Cemetery, Troy.
