Obituary of William Henry "Bill" Keenan, II

GRAFTON- William Henry Keenan, II, 43, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness. Born in Troy, NY, Bill is the son of Margaret "Peg" E. Burdick Keenan and the late Charles W. Keenan who died in 2006. Bill was a lifelong resident of Grafton and a graduate of Berlin Central High School in Cherry Plain, NY. He was a past member of the Grafton Volunteer Fire Department where he served for over ten years. Besides his father Bill was predeceased by his grandparents: William H. Keenan and Thelma Keenan Ruffin and Eugene P. Burdick, Sr., and Mary Pierce Burdick. Bill is survived by his mother, Margaret "Peg" Keenan, his aunt and uncles: Jean Haskell, Cathy Burdick, George (Tina) Keenan, Arthur (Diana) Burdick, Donald (Pam) Burdick, Maryann (Jay) Hoffay, Gloria Stenowich and William Oliver. He is also survived by several cousins. For those who wish to remember Bill in a special way, the family has suggested contributions in his memory be made to the Grafton Volunteer Fire Co., Grafton Fire House, Grafton, NY 12082. There are no funeral services planned at this time. Cremation took place through the care of Riverview Funeral Home, Troy, NY.
