Obituary of Jeanette G. Judkins
TROY-
Jeannette G. Judkins, 63, passed on December 27, 2021 after a long battle with brain cancer.
Jeannette was born in Troy, New York in 1958 to Jeanette Diamond and Leonard Minnafield. Additionally raised by her mother's second husband, William Gentry.
She moved to Buffalo, New York after her husband passed where she managed Hope Hospitality House and assisted families with seeing their loved ones. She later moved to Alburgh, Vermont to be closer to her sister, Augusta. She briefly lived in Fort Myers, Florida with her daughter. Finally she moved back to New York state where she finished out her days.
Jeannette raised two children as a single parent and worked hard in her later years to accomplish things she wasn't able to as a youth, including earning her GED. She enjoyed crafting and making items for her family, but spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite activity.
A thank you to Bertha Youngs and Robin Becker, who provided needed care to Jeannette, along with her children.
Jeannette was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Brian Dwyer: and her siblings, Augusta Brace, Alice (Minnafield) Blanchard, Leonard Minnafield, and Adeline (Maryjane) Howard.
She is survived by her son and daughter, Brian Dwyer (Denise Koslicki) and Kelly Frederick (Todd Frederick); her grandchildren Declan Frederick and Norah Dwyer; her siblings Bertha Youngs, JoAnne Minnafield, Elden Chamberlain, John Chamberlain, Cheryl Judka, Lawrance Chamberlain, Jayson Dulaney, Rebecca Dulaney, Shaly Dulaney, Ralph Minnafield, Allen, and Mark; and several nieces and nephews (of special note Robin Becker and John Becker Jr. (Junebug))
As requested during her life, there will be no services held.
