Obituary of Peter H. Hannagan

ALBANY- Peter Harvey Hannagan, 79 years, of Albany, New York, passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation on July 20, 2020. He was born on January 24th, 1941 in Troy, New York to Peter Joseph Hannagan and Marjorie Irene O'Hare. Peter was their first son and a lively companion to his four siblings as he grew up in the Troy area. He loved to share a great story and to get a good laugh from any crowd. Always a people person he made friends in every area he lived, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Florida, South Carolina, and at St. Peter's in Albany. Peter is preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his brother Timothy Hannagan, and sisters, Marjorie Elizabeth Hannagan and Patricia Joan Morrissey. He is survived by his oldest sister, Barbara Curtis; son, Peter and daughters; Michele (Joanie); Colleen (Pat); Tina (Mike); Irene (Dan). He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 10am-12 Noon on June 11th in the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) in Lansingburgh, where a memorial service will take place at 12 noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Lansingburgh. Peter will be laid to rest along with his sisters Marjorie Hannagan and Patricia Morrissey.
