Hi…Sorry I am so late adding this condolence. Jon and I were in a few bands together in the early 1970’s and another band mate just told me of his passing. ‶Jon Cole Train″ and ‶Summit″ were probably our most successful bands. One summer (‘71 or ‘72) we played mainly in the Hamptons on Long Island and had a great time (from what I remember). He was a great drummer and friend. I am so sorry to hear of his passing…Grant

I knew Jon at SUNY Binghamton. My then boyfriend Allan lived in Broome Basement, next door to Jon. We all played cards most evenings after supper. I saw Jon play several times in a band he had back then. Jon gave me rides home on breaks, up route 7 in his Thunderbird. Jon came my Dad's memorial service in '89. That was the last time I saw him. Sadly, altho' Allan and I had looked for Jon periodically since Allan moved to Albany a few years ago, we just found him this morning, and we were 2 months too late. Please accept our sincerest condolences, Suzanne.

To Jonathan's Family: I just heard today of my good friends passing. So sorry for your loss. Jonathan and I knew each other from our association with being a friend of "Bill W". We were both musicians and had that connection as well. He helped me tremendously as i just came to be a friend of "Bill W" 3 years ago, always encouraging me and making sure I was doing ok. I will miss him. Bob M

So sorry to hear Jonathan passed away. I worked .closely with him at Dept of Labor. He was a pleasure to work with and I will always remember him. So sad that he passed before he retired. He always was pretty active and talented person. He surely will be missed.
