I knew Jon at SUNY Binghamton. My then boyfriend Allan lived in Broome Basement, next door to Jon. We all played cards most evenings after supper. I saw Jon play several times in a band he had back then. Jon gave me rides home on breaks, up route 7 in his Thunderbird. Jon came my Dad's memorial service in '89. That was the last time I saw him. Sadly, altho' Allan and I had looked for Jon periodically since Allan moved to Albany a few years ago, we just found him this morning, and we were 2 months too late.
