Obituary of Patricia A. Leach

Patricia A. Leach, 79, passed away at home on March 22, 2018 in Troy, NY. She was the widow of Gerald T. Leach Sr., they were married on November 11, 1959. Patricia was born in Jamaica Queens, NY. She was the daughter of Thomas and Veronica Mertz-Chewins. She graduated from Catskill High School and was the Broker and Owner of Leach Realty in Catskill, NY for over 35 years and was a member of the Catskill Country Club. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, golfing and traveling with her friends. She will be remembered as a loyal, tenacious and spunky woman, known for her infectious laugh. She will be loved and missed by all. She is survived by her son Gerald T. Leach Jr. (Patricia) of Troy, NY and her daughter, Catherine L. OGrady (Timothy) of Austin, TX; her grandchildren Meaghan Bryant, Erin Leach, Daniel Leach, and Emma OGrady; and her siblings Brenda Chewins and Thomas Chewins of Catskill, NY. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, March 29th, at 6:30 pm in the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104thh St), Lansingburgh. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at that funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 6:30 pm, prior to the service.
