Obituary of William C. Jordan
Loudonville
William C. Jordan, 93, of Loudonville, passed away on September 26, 2016. Born on June 8, 1923 in Green Island, NY to the late William and Lillian Jordan. He was a WWII Marine veteran who was on the president guard for Roosevelt, while stationed in Ireland where he met the love of his life. He is survived by the love of his life Mary Ann Jordan, his son William E. Jordan Sr. and predeceased by his son Philip Jordan. He is also survived by his sisters, Doris "Sis" Griffin, Lois Conlen, brother James Jordan, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a charming man with great integrity and honor, who loved his family and was loved by all.
Calling hours will be held at RIVERVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street), Troy on Friday, September 30, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 1, at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Rd, Loudonville.
Entombment with military honors will immediately follow the mass at the mausoleum in St. Agnes' Cemetery, Menands.
