Obituary of Patricia A. Moore

Patricia A. Moore, 81, of Troy, died on Thursday January 8, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy following a lengthy illness. Her loving family was by her side. Born in Troy on December 9, 1933, a daughter of the late Edward J. Ryan and Mary (Seifridsberger) Ryan of Lansingburgh, Patricia was a lifelong resident of Troy and attended local schools. She was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School. She began her career in the insurance business by first working at her Father's family business, Edward J. Ryan & Sons, and retired as an insurance underwriter for commercial lines from Houlihan & Associates located in Troy. Patricia is warmly remembered for being a devoted mother and a loving wife. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond N. Moore, of Troy whom she married on September 5, 1952 in Keene, NH., her daughter, Kelly J. Canuet of Schenectady as well as her siblings: Mary Lance, Helen Upton, Judy Rizzo, Jean Bourdeau, Dorothy Sheldrick, Edward Ryan and Frederick Ryan. In keeping with Patricia's wishes there will be no services.
