Obituary of Jorge Alberto "Coy" Falu-Garcia

Jorge Alberto Falu-Garcia Albany- Jorge Alberto Falu-Garcia, of Albany known by his friends and family as "Coy" "50" "Kiry" and "Boster" was taken from us tragically on Thursday October 2nd. He was only 25 years young. Jorge was born on December 20, 1988 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He was a son of Tomas Falu-Cruz and the late Camille Garcia-Vivas. Jorge was raised in El Prado, Puerto Rico where he attended local schools and grew up just about his whole life. Jorge first came to Albany at 16 living here and attending high school for one year before returning to Puerto Rico. Jorge completed his education back in Puerto Rico and had lived there for 20 whole years and in Albany these past 5 years. He was employed for 3 years at Janitronics in Albany and most recently at Capital City Produce in Menands. Jorge is remembered as being a dedicated and hard worker. His family said that no matter what Jorge did the best job he could at anything he did and was dedicated - even if the snow was up to his knees. He just thrived on work and truly loved it. Jorge had many interests and spent his free time doing activities he enjoyed such as riding four-wheelers, dirt bikes and he loved showing off his flips and jumping. He was known as an adventurous person. Jorge enjoyed shopping and loved to go to the clubs and frequented Club 90 and Envy. Jorge was once a boxer and he loved to watch boxing on TV. Back in Puerto Rico he would go to see the rooster fights. Jorge had a sweet tooth. He loved candy, cakes and was always asking his girl friend's mama what was she baking and could she makeetc. Jorge loved all animals, but especially horses and dogs. He was sweet and loveable. Friends were always on his list and he would help anyone. Jorge was the one to stop what he was doing to help an elderly woman cross the street - literally. But above of all Jorge loved children, especially his own and he loved his family. Family was very important to Jorge and nothing was more special than when the entire family was together. Holidays were a favorite time of the year because it meant the family would all be together and Jorge was his happiest when everyone was reunited. Those left to cherish his memory include his fianc and the mother of his children; Stephanie Vasquez of Albany. Their special day was June 21, 2009 sharing a union of 5 years, although brief, one that was strong with love that brought into the world Mellody Falu-Vasquez and Emanuel Falu-Vasquez. Besides his father, Tomas Falu-Cruz, 7 siblings also survive; Tommy Falu also known as "Bullio", Joseline Camille Falu, Maria Falu, Kenia Falu, Keniliz Falu, Amaly Diaz and Tommy Falu. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Jorge's mother, maternal grandmother, 1 cousin, 3 nieces and 1 nephew perished in a car accident last year. 2 months later his aunt passed away.
