Glen was born on December 16, 1948, to Celema & Lascelles Straker and immigrated to the U.S.
in 1964.
Glen attended John Adams High School, where he graduated on the Dean's List and went on to Queens College.
He worked as a bus driver for many years and most recently as a school bus driver for Raybern Bus Service Inc.
Glen immensely enjoyed spending time with his family especially when they all got together for Thanksgiving, or Christmas at either one of his sister's or his mother's home. But he especially enjoyed when his family got together every Sunday at his mother's house for dinner. At that time they would get together, tell jokes and recall all the trouble they used to get into when they were young. His joyous happy spirit will be dearly missed by all his loving family.
