Obituary of Frank P. DeLuca, Jr.

Frank P. DeLuca- After a long illness, on December 24, 2013 Frank DeLuca, 62, entered into eternal life. Frank was surrounded by family and loved ones during his passing. Frank is survived by his sister Helen McLean (John O'Connell) of Troy, New York, his sister Marie Templer ( Peter) of Oxnard, CA., his brother Robert Gustin (Bonnie) of Temple City, Ca.. Frank is also survived by his nieces, nephews and 4 grand nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his father Frank DeLuca Sr. and his mother Delores Gustin. Frank was born on July 26, 1951 in Albany NY. He attended St. Joseph's Academy before moving to Pasadena, Ca. with his family. Frank graduated from Pasadena High School and stayed in the Ventura, Ca. until 2010, when he moved back to the area to be closer to his sister Helen. Frank was a resident of the O'Neil Apartments in Troy, where he had many caring friends that he enjoyed spending time with. Frank worked in food service for many years, he was owner and operator of Blue Moon Catering and Party Planning in Ventura, Ca.. Frank was a parishioner of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Troy, NY where he assisted in weekly services and was very active in social and community events related to the church. He had many friends at St. Johns Church and enjoyed spending is free time decorating for parties and celebrations. He was also very active with the Senior Center in Downtown Troy. The family would like to thank Samaritan Hospital for the comfort and care they brought to Frank during his final days. They would also like to thank Riverview Funeral Home for their services, support and professional comfort they have brought to the family during this difficult time.
