Obituary of Susan E. Nadeau

Cohoes Susan E. Nadeau, 72, of Ogden Mills Apartments, Cohoes, passed away at home on Saturday, August 17, 2013. Daughter of the late Claude and Nora Weed Bowen, Susan was born in Keeseville, NY and had lived in Cohoes for the past 10 years having formerly resided in Albany. Sue worked for over 20 years at the Sacred Heart Convent at Kenwood Academy in Albany. Susan always put other people before herself she was a loving and giving person who will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Sue loved turtles and sailboats and had a beautiful collection of model sailing ships. Besides her parents, Sue was predeceased by two children: Alan K. Nadeau and Kandy LaLonde and her sister, Winnie Conner. Susan is survived by her loving and grateful family, which includes her son: Joseph R. K. Nadeau of Manchester, NH and his wife Lucy Nadeau. Her siblings: Anna Clukey of Cohoes, Walter Bowen, Sr. of Averill Park and Roy Bowen. Sue leaves behind her adoring grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Victoria Nadeau, Shannon, Donnie and Joshua LaLonde and 3 great grandchildren. A memorial service was held at Ogden Mills Apartments on Wednesday, August 21st.
