Obituary of Ruth Agnes Flanigan

Ruth A. Flanigan died on July 5, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital Hospice. She was the daughter of Ruth Callahan Flanigan Martin and William Hobart Flanigan. She is survived by her sister, Clara Flanigan Hunt (Charles) and numerous cousins. Ruth was a 1953 graduate of Catholic Central High School and received her BA and Masters in Education from the College of St. Rose. She taught for over 30 years in area Christian schools and also taught at Troy High School. After her retirement she worked providing home schooling sessions in the Finger Lakes Region. She was very involved in her church Victorious Life, Troy, NY and her faith was at the center of her life. She was a devoted, kind and loving individual and will be remembered for her Christian values and love of the Lord. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13 at 10:00 am at Victorious Life Church, 1838-5th Avenue, Troy, NY.
