Obituary of Veronica Jean Wolfe-Levy

Veronica Jean Wolfe-Levy, 69 of South Pearl Street, Albany, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 after a short Illness. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 25, 1943, she was the daughter of the late: Warren J. and Lelia M. Drake-Wolfe. Veronica had made Albany her home for the past 40 years. She obtained some college credits and then worked for the SUNY Teachers Association. She was also a member of the AARP and the SPCA. Veronica was an animal lover, enjoyed reading, was a great cook, sports fan who enjoyed football, golf and tennis. She was a person with a generous heart who contributed to those in need, as well as a wonderful mother, grandmother and partner of many years to Larry Glickman. Veronica is survived by her three children: Karen Steedman, Joseph Levy and Charles Blank, grandchildren: Justine Levy, Sasha Levy, Shelby Steedman, Amy Diggs and Mary Grace and Charleigh Blank. She is also survived by her siblings: Sharon Corcoran, Joan St. Ours and Mary Morgan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Serrvice which will be conducted in Veronica's memory on Monday afternoon July 15th at 3 PM, from the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue at 104th Street, Troy, NY 12180.
