Samuel Calvin Kelly, 57, of Rotterdam, NY passed away at home, peacefully, on
Saturday, June 29, 2013 in the presence of his loving wife of 37 years, Sandy
Kelly, his daughter, Jessica Schultheis, and son, Nicholas Schultheis.
Sam was born in Albany, NY on April 7, 1956 to the late Paul and Renee Kelly. He
is survived by his wife, son and daughter, two granddaughters, Ariana Lisa
Marshall, age 7 years, and Alyssa Marie Bates, age 1 year, brothers Jim and Joe,
and sisters Pauline, Mary and Tina.
Sam graduated from LaSalle Institute for Boys and went on to serve in the US
Navy with an honorable discharge. He worked in Schenectady, NY at St. Clare's
Hospital for 8 years and Ellis Hospital for 9 years.
Sam was a football fan and favored the Washington Redskins and the Green Bay
Packers. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and gardening.

his recently rescued and adopted cat, Little Bear.
Sam will always be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and generous
nature.
We love you Sam!
