In 2008, she and her husband moved to Guilderland, NY to be close by their children. She worked for CNY School Photography/Lifetouch for 24 years. She was a wiz on the computer and enjoyed the many co-workers she worked with throughout the years in Syracuse, Pittsford and Castleton on Hudson. Cindy was a hard worker and never stopped working until the last month when her disease made it impossible. She was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her. Cindy had a great sense of humor and made a difference in people's lives. She had a love for genealogy and enjoyed researching family history. She also enjoyed Facebook to stay connected with family and friends. Cindy fought every minute of the day to beat this disease; she never stopped fighting. It did not matter how much pain she endured; she never gave up. Her strength, determination and courage were honorable and commendable. She is our hero and will forever be in our hearts. "Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."
