Obituary of Arnold J. Redcross

Latham Arnold J. Redcross, III, 58 of Vermontview Drive, passed away at home, surrounded by his family on May 1st after a brief illness. Born in Troy, NY to the late Arnold J. Redcross, Jr. and Dillie Lovell Redcross, Arnold lived in Lansingburgh for most of his life before moving to Latham 13 years ago. Arnold was an avid bowler who started bowling at age 8. He loved camping and boating on Saratoga Lake. Arnold was a "sun lover" who sported quite a tan at summer's end. Arnold was a family man and enjoyed all the special times he shared especially with his grandson Walker who was his "pride & joy"! His wife Judith H. Loya Redcross whom he married at St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh on July 27, 1974 survives Arnold. This July would have been their 39th Wedding Anniversary. He was the father of: Tammy (Dave) Dushane of Lansingburgh and Tara (Jeremy) Allen of Clifton Park. He was the brother of: Harry (Lynn) Reynolds of Lansingburgh and Bonnie (Frank) Canceleno of Cohoes and the late Shiela Redcross. Arnold was the proud grandfather of: Walker Dushane, "Poppy's Buddy". Funeral Monday morning at 11 o'clock at Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue at 104th Street, Troy with Father James Spenard, OSA officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM. His interment will be in Waterford Rural Cemetery.
