Obituary of RoseMarie Wagar

Troy RoseMarie Wagar, 73 of Troy, NY, died on Sunday afternoon, October 21, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Keesville, NY, RoseMarie lived in Schenectady before moving to Troy in 1976. A graduate of Troy High School, she also received a Clerical Degree from Union College. She was employed for J.M. Fields in Schenectady, the Ann Lee Home and after receiving her college degree she went to work for the New York State Department of Corrections. RoseMarie had a lot to be proud of in her life; receiving a college degree in later life, raising four children as a single parent, marrying the "love of her life" and being happily married for 32 years to her beloved husband, Edwin F Wagar. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A women with a "big heart" she would help anyone in need. In her spare time RoseMarie loved camping and Bingo! Besides her husband she is survived by her children: Brian Center of Las Vegas, NV, Wayne Center of Malta, NY, Darline Plath of Schenectady and Warren Center of AZ, four step-children: John, Rickie, Edward and Lana Wagar. She is also survived by two brothers: Frank Miles of Troy and Robert Miles of SC., several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue, Troy, NY 12180 (corner of 104th Street). Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 pm. Interment in Memory's Garden, Colonie, NY.
