Obituary of James Robert Bronk

Troy James Robert Bronk 64 of Troy passed into eternal life Friday August 31, 2012 surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.Born in Troy he was the son of the late Edwin N Bronk and Marguerite (Waddington) Bronk. He attended Troy City Schools and later worked for the City of Troy for 28 years. He enjoyed cooking, bowling, bingo, and was a diehard Boston Red Sock and Miami Dolphins fan. The passion of his life was loving and spending time with his family. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Melrose. Beloved husband for 28 years to Carol (Morley) Bronk and was the loving father of two sons: James M Bronk of Green Island and Matthew T (Kaylin) Bronk of Wynantskill. James is survived by his five brothers, Charles M. Bronk of Troy, William A. (Mary) Bronk of East Greenbush, Walter F. (Rose) of Lowell Mass, Raymond J. (Linda) Bronk of Troy, Harold R. (Maryann) Bronk of Troy and two sisters Ruth Ann Stewart of Webb City MO and Susan M. McCullough of Troy. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral for James on Wednesday September 5th at 10:00am at Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner 104th St.) Troy NY. Friends may call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 4th from 4-7pm. Interment will follow at Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
