Obituary of Sheila M. Redcross

Troy Sheila M. Redcross, 60, formerly of Troy, NY and most recently of Anderson, Indiana, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Sheila was born in Troy and was a lifelong resident until moving to Anderson in 2009. She was a Nurses Aid at St. Mary's Hospital (Seton Health) for many years retiring in 2008. Sheila's past times included walking while taking pleasure listening to her music. Later in life she enjoyed using the computer and became a "Facebook Fan". She was the daughter of the late: Arnold J. and Dillie Lovell Redcross. Sheila is survived by her son, Scott M. (Erin) Costello of Waterford; siblings: Bonnie Canceleno of Cohoes, Harry Reynolds and Arnie Redcross both of Troy. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Reilly Costello and Charleigh Kilgallon as well as several nieces and nephews and her best and loving friend "Dee" Willis of Anderson, IN. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue (Corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY with Father James Spenard, OSA officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 7 pm. Interment will follow in Waterford Rural Cemetery.
