Obituary of Mary W. Festine

Niskayuna, NY Mary W. Festine, of Wynwood, 1786 Union Street, Niskayuna, died on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Ellis Hospital after a short illness, she was 103. Mary was born in Utica, NY and moved with her late husband Anthony Festine, who died December 20, 1995, to Clinton, NY where they owned and operated a dry cleaning business. They moved to Bradenton, FL where Mary lived for approximately 25 years. She loved spending her summers in the Adirondacks where she and her late husband owned a summer home for most of their lives. She enjoyed visits with neighbors and friends and loved playing Bridge. She is survived by two sons: Joseph "Ron" Festine of Portland, OR and Fred (the late Christine) Festine of Niskayuna. Mary is also survived by her grandchildren: Catherine, Lauren, Stephanie and Julianne and a great grandson, Ryder. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at The Church of Sanit John the Evangelist, Union Street, Schenectady, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Inurnment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro, NY.
