Obituary of Marguerite Adele Ferrell

Marguerite A Ferrell, age 74, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital after a courageous battle with leukemia. A long time resident of Colonie, she was born in Queens, New York. She served in the US Air Force, and enjoyed a long career with the United States Government. After retiring, she took pleasure in working part time as a teacher's assistant with the Forrest Park School, Colonie. She is survived by her daughter Kim E. Rowe (Christine Jones); brother Stanley Rowe; sister Marie Chatrie (Dwayne); Grandson Marcus Rowe; Great Grandson Alexzander Rowe; as well as Angela Anderson, Mae Flynn, Sarah Jones and many loved aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and Godson: Lawrence Calvert. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the St. Peter's Hospice staff, our cousins Linda, Maria and Marilyn, and our dear friends for their wonderful support, care and compassion through this difficult time. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday January 21, 2012 at 10 am at the Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1580 Central Avenue Albany. Inurnment will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
