Obituary of Madeline Della Chartier

Troy, NY Madeline Della Chartier, 79, passed away on Thursday, December 15 at Teresian House, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Clayburg, NY, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Della Hanlon Buckley. Madeline was employed as a waitress for many years. Her last job was with Friendly's Restaurant on Hoosick St. in Troy. Madeline is survived by her children: Carol Snyder (Ed Donnelly) of Albany, Wayne Chartier of Albany, Dale Chartier (Debbie Berger) of Grafton, Tammy Beaudry (Steve) of Grafton and Lisa Cook (Michael) of Middleton, NH. She was the proud grandmother of: Stephnie Beaudry (Anthony Celis) of Spring Lake, NJ, Steven Beaudry (Kim) of Troy, Robert Chartier of Troy and Michael Cook of Middleton, NH. She was the sister of: June Rock, Myrtle Jefferson and Ronald Buckley. Madeline was predeceased by two children: Timothy Chartier and Bruce Chartier; siblings: Marjorie Klopp, Daniel Buckley, Kenneth Buckley and Timothy Buckley. She was also precdeceased by her former husband, Andrew W. Chartier. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday morning, December 19th at 9:15 from the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc. 218 Second Avenue, Troy and at 10 o'clock from St Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill, NY, where the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 pm. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Troy, NY. Those who wish to remember Madeline in a special way may make a contribution in her memory to Teresian House - Activities Department or to the Hudson River Humane Society.
