Obituary of Alice Loretta (Ryan) Hudson
COHOES –
Alice (Ryan) Hudson, 65, of Cohoes, passed away in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, February 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of Elizabeth Ryan and the late Raymond Ryan, Alice was born on September 25, 1958 in Troy. She was raised in Troy, attending local schools and resided in Cohoes. At the time of her death, Alice was the manager of the Walmart Supercenter in Brunswick where she has worked for the last 26 years.
Alice was an avid bowler at the Green Island Bowling Alley, she was a member of the Pot Bellies Team League. She enjoyed the summer season, attending concerts in local parks, but most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
On May 23, 1998 she married Theodore Hudson in Troy, NY. They shared a union of nearly 25 years until his passing on February 19, 2023.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her three children: Nicole Giordano (Dan), Alice Hathaway and Gregg Arnold (Kathryn). She was the grandmother of 10 grandchildren and great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren. Sister of Timothy Schultz, Edward Schultz and Robert Ryan. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
Relatives and Friends are invited to pay their respects and visit with Alice’s family from 4-7PM on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180.
