My husband Mike and I met Kenny in Scotland when he was attending family reunions organised every two years by his cousin Agnes.
We both found Kenny to be a very warm, friendly person who enjoyed all the activities planned at the reunions. He had a great sense of humour and came across as kind and caring.
We were both very sad to hear of his passing and know that he will be missed in his local community but more importantly in his family.
We are thinking of Kenny’s family and send our condolences to them.
Mike and Marlyn O’Connor. Glasgow

I have so many great memories of Ken. I met him in 1974 at Oswego State where I met my wife and she introduced me to her roommate Greta and her boyfriend Ken. Greta called Mary and asked for our help 1 day to help "rescue" Ken in Canada. A guy had told Ken he would pay him to help sail a boat from Oswego over to Canada but then stiffed him once he got to Canada. Ken was left without anything but was going to stay at a hostel till the next day and then find a way home. We drove that evening to Kingston where we thought he was and pounded on the hostel door in the middle of the night only to find out he wasn't there. He had hitchhiked to Watertown and was sleeping at the YMCA while we were out searching for him. He might have even gotten back home before we did. I think his view was "What were you worried about? I was OK.". That was Ken. He was always OK. We will miss you Ken; but know you are OK.

This is a funny memory...I remember Ken asked me to read from John. I can't the exact verse, but it was very long. The congregation asked if I needed water. He was also my sound board on situations in my life. He was a very good listener and his prayers for my family were always appreciated. May God take his servant into his care.
