Obituary of Charles Donald Swanson

Charles D Swanson 34, Of Troy, NY, passed away suddenly on April 17th 2020. He was born in Troy, NY on August 07, 1985. Charles worked for Millwood Incorporated since 2014. He is survived by his significant other of 15 years, Kari Canfield and their children: Karter and Emmalayne Swanson; his parents Tammy and James Hathaway and his grandmother, Muriel Thomas. He is also survived by his siblings: Donald Swanson, Floyd Hathaway (Amber), Faith Santana, William Hathaway (Angie), Teddy Hathaway, Hope Hathaway (Sha); as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers James Hathaway and Frankie Hathaway. Charles loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed motor and sporting events. He loved celebrating Fourth of July with family and friends, providing a firework display for everyone to enjoy. Due to the restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 Pandemic, there will be no service or calling hours. A celebration of his life will be done at a later date, at the privacy and convenience of the family.
