My Poppy, My Father, My Friend, We have been through so much the last three years and we have had many heart to heart talks during that time. We shared your hopes and dreams, frustrations, sorrows and fear of not knowing how it would all turn out. We laughed at family memories past and talked about new memories to come. We all made it through the most difficult of times because we knew we had each other to lean on. We can't be with you for this journey but we know that you knew how much you were loved. Let that love be your guiding light and strength to carry you on to Heaven. I am struggling to let you go, but I find comfort in knowing that you are now at peace. I hope they have Harley's in Heaven so you can feel the wind in your hair that you so longed for during your illness. Please watch over mom and I until we can all be together again. I love you dad!
