Obituary of Paul H. Bellows

TROY ~ Paul H. Bellows entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2016 after a long illness. He was born in Troy, NY to the late Harold R. Bellows and the late Mary Ann Ross-Bellows, and lived in Troy all of his life. He was a graduate of Troy High School and a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces - Army Division. He was a longtime owner of Paul's Place Tavern on River Street in Troy, NY. Paul retired from the NYS Thruway Authority and loved to spend time with his little buddy "Rosco" his devoted Jack Russell Terrier. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his brother when his health would allow. Paul is survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary Ann Kussler - Bellows and his daughter Kimberly (Warren "Chris") Hagadorn of Melrose, NY Also survived by his sister Mary Ann and Arthur Riley of Waterford, NY, William and Judith Bellows of Johnsonville, NY and his brother-in-law Donald Meyer, his grandchildren Sarah, Hannah and Nicholas Hagadorn of Melrose, NY Many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews also survive. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his late sister Gail Meyer of Westland, MI. Relatives and friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, August 1, at RIVERVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) in Lansingburgh, where prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. that same evening.
