So many great memories & stories when I think of Mary. She was a great story teller and such a personality. She was the shining example of what a law librarian should be. She was always ready to volunteer, help, spearhead or lead an activity or event. My heart goes out to the family. We, her friends, will miss her smile, her laugh, her work habits, and her great heart.

I first met Mary at a law librarian's conference (ALLUNY) in the mid-80's. It soon became clear that she not only was the life of the party but a large and important part of the groups existence. Her contributions to the group are many from newsletter editor to president. I have so many fond memories of her.........so many times we'd laugh until we cried. She was a brilliant women with razor sharp wit. Her laughter infectious. My condolences to her family and friends - she will be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mary through ALLUNY, the Association of Law Libraries of Upstate New York. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. I didn't know Mary was a pilot - though I'm not one bit surprised. Mary made significant contributions to the field of law librarianship and she will be missed.

Mary was a great friend, colleague, and long-time inspirational member of the Association of Law Libraries of Upstate New York. She served as our first newsletter editor, frequently shared and celebrated our history, and was known to lead us in song at annual meetings. Even after retirement, she remained active as a life member for many years and was always such a joy to spend time with! The archives of ALLUNY's Newsletter attest to her many contributions, and suggest how very dear she was to all of us in the organization. She will be very missed and her memory very honored. I was fortunate to have met Mary on several happy occasions and I deeply appreciate the leadership, mentoring, and simple fun she gave to ALLUNY. On behalf of ALLUNY, I offer warmest appreciation as we celebrate her life, with much sympathy to her family; you are in our thoughts.

My deepest condolences to Mary's family. I was a colleague of Mary's while she worked for the Unified Court System and attended many ALLUNY conferences where her presence was always a joy. She was such a large part of any meeting she attended. She was always willing to mentor new members and share her great knowledge with younger colleagues. She was so funny and I remember so many happy times at the annual ALLUNY conferences she attended. She will be missed.

I'm very sorry to learn of Mary's passing. She was a fixture at professional librarian meetings and always the life of the party, always the storyteller. She mentored a lot of librarians during her career and even in her retirement. My condolences to her family.

I first met Mary at an ALLUNY meeting in 1974. We have been good friends since then. Mary was always a barrel of fun, laughing, doing crazy things, and caring for all around her. I last saw Mary when I went to visit her in the Spring of 2014, and she was her usual fun loving self. I had planned to go see her again during my visit to New York State this summer. I am so sad for her loss. I send my condolences to all her family, and to Joan and Katie who I had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with. Mary will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Mary's family members at this difficult time. I knew Mary through ALLUNY, the Association of Law Libraries of Upstate New York. When I joined ALLUNY in the late 70's, Mary was an active member and leader within the Association. I will always remember her positive, can-do attitude, vast knowledge of law librarianship, and, of course, her infectious laugh. May she rest in peace.
